During the installation of Solar lights a dangerous incident was occurred. One villager who was learning two wheeler was coming in full speed on the slope. A little 5 year old young girl Dishita was passing through the road. A Sai Youth saw and sensed happening of terrible accident. He ran with full agility to rescue her life. The girl was kicked off as soon as the Sai Youths pushed her on the other side of the way and he met with an accident with the two wheeler. Scooter's handle and a leg guard hit him on the chaste and on his leg respectively. He was also swung on the other side where a hip of stones (to be used for road construction) was lying. Fortunately his head was hit with the rubber tyre lying on |
| that hip. The young girl and a Sai Youth were miraculously saved with Bhagwan's divine grace. Girl was not having even a scratch and a Sai Youth got injured with minor injuries. All Sai Youth witnessed Bhagwan's a life saving miracle and all thanked Swami for His divine grace on them. |

On 13th January Sai Youth visited adopted village Paikhad with the Government official to survey the availability of the water under the ground and spotting the place on the earth for excavation activity for installation of bore well.
On 17th January Sai Youth brought 2000 bricks and 15 bags of cement for construction of temple and low cost toilets in Paikhad village.
On 19th January a Survey was made along with Government of Officials.

On 26th January Sai Youth arranged a Gram Sabha in Paikhad to discuss the construction of temple and low cot toilets. Sai Youth sisters carried out a Balvikas Session. They taught the Bhajans to the children.
On 27th January Sai Youth visited Jujava village near Valsad city and arranged All Disease Diagnose Medical Camp. A camp was started with Nagarsankirtanam. 139 patients were examined and given medicines in the camp. Balvikas Gurus undertook Balvikas sessions and Sai Youth sisters and brothers carried out cleaning activities at various places in the village.

On 3rd February Sai Youth arranged Blood Donation camp at Panchlai village and collected 43 bags of blood.
On 5th February Sai Youth invited villagers of Lilapore village for Avtaar Darshan (a video film show on Bhagwan and His Divine Mission) program. They visited each and every house (appx. 61 houses) and distributed photographs and pamphlets. On 6th February they arranged Avtaar Darshan program and appx. 132 villagers watched the show.
On 10th February Sai Youth sisters undertook Balvikas session at adopted village Paikhad. Thereafter all the villagers along with Sai Youth sisters and brothers undertook the construction of temple. At last 80 blankets were distributed in the village.

On 17th February, construction of temple was continued by Sai youth and villagers. Also Sai youth distributed pamphlets in nearby villages for All Disease Medical Camp in Moti Kasbadi.
On 30th March, construction of temple was continued by Sai youth and villagers. Also cleaning activities were undertaken at "Sri Sathya Sai Tirth" Temple, Vagaldhara and nearby places in the village. On 31st March Paduka Pujan and Bhajans were done at the same place. On 31.03.67 Swami visited the school at Vagaldhara and stayed for 45 minutes appx. Now the place has been renamed as "Sri Sathya Sai Tirth". The teachers and students who were present on Swami's visit to this place shared their experience out of their love towards Swami. The State President Gujarat Sh. Manohar G. Trikannad was present. He also addressed the mass motivated the people.
On 14th, 15th April as a part of preparation for the Heart Check Up Camp scheduled on 20th April, Sai Youth pasted stickers and distributed pamphlets at various places viz. Bus Depot, Railways Station etc. On 20th April Heart Check Up Camp was undertaken at Adarsh Hospital, Valsad and team of doctors and nurses of Sri Sathya Sai Heart Hospital, Rajkot served wholeheartedly. Dr. Sandip Desai of Valsad City also offered his best services in the camp. Appx. 163 patients were examined, 5 patients were called for operation and 30 patients were advised for angiography.
On 27th April and 11th May construction of temple was continued by Sai youth and villagers. On 18th May Sai youth discussed on various issues for construction of temple. On 8th Jun the Sai Youth distributed Rice and Biscuits to those who helped in construction of the temple. On 22nd and 29th Jun construction of temple at Paikhad village was continued and construction of Ghumat was completed. Further, under the request and assistance of Sai Youth Water and Sanitation Management Organisation constructed well in the village.

| On 6th May Eswaramma Day was celebrated. 4 Tricycles were distributed. Sai Youth Sisters presented Sarva Dharma song and Balvikas students presented Dance and Drama. |

On 25th May Sai Youth Visited "Sri Sathya Sai Tirth" Vagaldhara and leveled the free land in the premises.
On 1st June on the occasion of World Blood Donors Day 2008, Samithi has received a 3rd prize from jointly GSACS, GSCBT, ISBPT, Gujarat Chapter of all Blood Bank of Valsad & Dang District for arranging 16 voluntary blood donation in Valsad and Dang District during 2005-2008.
