1. The following activities have been identified which the Sai youth has under taken to carry on in the State depending on the need and feasibility:
   • Sai awareness programme in cities & Villages.
   • Carear guidance & counseling based on spiritual back ground.
   • Coaching classes for villages children.
   • Swachhata Abhiyan - Educating people for use & construction of toilets.
   • Adoption of slums in the cities.
   • Mother & child care by Mahila Youth wing.
   • Vocational guidance for ladies.

The main state level activities which has been under taken & started is Sai awareness in cities & villages and mother & child health care. It has also been clearly under stood that youth will take part in all the activities of the local Samithi, Particulary in the selected villages.

1. An entirely new concept of activities in villages came to light, when Swami;s discourse given on ugadi 20th March 07 was communicated to us. It seem our activitiers in the villages so far were entirely on a wrong concept & on part time basis.
   
   
2. Based on the new concept & enlightened under standing in all, 117 Villages were identified & selected in the state. Village profile was collected for each village & survey of villages was started in right earnest, which has been nearly completed in 60% of the villages.
   A complete list of selected villages along with plan for implementation in the said selected villages was forwarded to all India President by the target date of 1st May 07. It was decided that all the 5 Zonal coordinators, State Seva Dal Convenor & State President should visit the selected villages which were respectively allotted to them. 80 out of 117 villages have been physically visited by the said persons & work started by seva dal & Sai Youth. 699 expectant mothers have been identified in the selected villages which the organization & sai youth Mahila wing has under taken to take care.

• As a prelude to the partiyatra allotted to our state on 17-21 Dec. 07, a State conference was called at Bhilai which was held from 3 PM on 27/10/07 to 4 PM on 28/10/07. 689 gents and 244 ladies in all 933 persons from all over the state attended, apart form some of the district presidents, Zonal convenors and local seva dal The total attendance was 1200
  
  
• The conference started with chanting of Omkaram, Vedam and Deep prajwalan by the State president followed by a highly motivating session of talks on "LOVE - A tool for transformation" by an Ex-student and District President and Directives of Bhagwan given to the organization by a highly learned senior devotee. The whole atmosphere was so much charged that young boys & girls felt from the core of their hearts for the need of bringing transformation in their individual lives.
  
  
• In the evening Bhajan & devotional singing was arranged followed by a beautiful power presentation & talk by a young State Coordinator and an IAS officer who was formerly a Bal Vikas student, showing different service activities which the youth can under take. A film show 'Sai Sankalp : about various works of Swami including the water projects & Super Specialty Hospital was also shown'
  
  
• The next day started with omkaram suprabhatam at 5.30 AM followed by workshop on Meditation made easy. An Ex-student gave a lucid talk on Roll of Sai Youth in society.
  
  
• A work shop session was arranged on the core activity in the state taken up by the youth on "Sai awareness programme in cities & villages " and "Mother & child health care project" An ex student of Swami's institute, a young co-ordinator & a young lady doctor participated in the work shop.
  
  
• The youth were there after informed about Sri Sathya Sai Vllage integrated programme (SSSVIP) in details by the State President based on the Instruction as per book supplied at the all India conference recently held at Prasanthinilayam on 29-30-31 Aug, 07. A hindi version of the book was supplied to all the participants which was got translated & Printed for this purpose. This was followed by the instructions on visit to Parasanthi given by the state Seva Dal Convenor.
  The conference was concluded by valedictionry address by State youth leader & state President followed by Maha Mangal Arti. It seems that with the blessings of Bhagwan Baba this conference of Sai Youth in the State will prove to be a land mark and a Jumping ramp for the youth to take a Plunge for carrying on the activities in the state. The youth also felt greatly motivated & we hope that they will prove to be future torch bearers of the Organisations.
