Sri Sathya Sai Village Integrated Program (SSS-VIP)
As part of the Sri Sathya Sai Village Integrated Program (SSS-VIP), the following activities are being carried out in the adopted villages in various Districts of the State.
  • Sri Sathya Sai Annapoorneswari Project : Apart from Rice banks in Samithies, rice collection is being done at a number of educational institutions (a handful of rice by each student - monthly twice) which will be provided to the adopted houses.

  • Drinking Water Project : Construction of new wells, cleaning of existing water sources, fencing of wells etc to provide clean drinking water to the villagers.

  • Mobile Medical Clinic : For the benefit of villagers in the remote areas, mobile van with lab facilities provide frequent medical care in general and specialities.

  • Medical Camps : Free medical check-up and medicines distribution ; general as well as speciality camps for Eye, ENT, Gynac etc.

  • Mother & child Project : Pregnant women are given necessary support for food, medicines etc followed care for the new born baby also.

  • Veterinary Camps : Free veterinary camps and distribution of medicines, feeds and vaccination. Also, the farmers are given seeds for fodder cultivation and classes by experts are being conducted.

  • Cultivation of vegetables : As part of the "Culture through Agriculture" Project, vegetables are being cultivated and supplied to the adopted houses.

  • Cleaning of public places : Towards promoting "Health & Hygiene" , cleaning activities are being regularly conducted in public places, hospitals etc.

  • Awareness classes against Social Evils : Classes are being organized in villages on the ill effects of Smoking, Alcohol, Tobacco, Pan Parag etc.

  • Veda Classes in schools : Regular classes for Veda chanting are being conducted in schools. More than 4000 students are being taught.
